Presentation 1: Bill Ormsby, former president of Lockheed Martin
This presentation will be delivered by distinguished guest, Bill Ormsby on February 23, 2010, immediately following the EC meeting. Mr. Ormsby will be talking about the Air Force airplanes produced by Lockheed from 1947 to the present. Among other things.
Some highlights of Mr. Ormsby's distinguished career include the following:
* Graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology, B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering — 1945
* President — 1975-1984 Lockheed Georgia Company, Marietta, Georgia
* Chairman, NASA Aeronautics Advisory Committee — 1984-1988
* Inducted into Georgia Tech College of Engineering Hall of Fame
* Recipient of Georgia Tech Distinguished Alumnus Award
* Recipient of NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal
Presentation 2: Lt. Col. Brad Cousar
On March 2, following the EC Meeting, we will have a great presentation by Lt. Col. Brad Cousar about his missions flying for the Georgia Air National Guard. LtCol Cousar is a '90 GT graduate. He is currently the Chief Pilot in the 158th Airlift Squadron, 165th Airlift Wing in Savannah, Georgia, and a Delta Airlines pilot.
