A friend of Nelse Hansen recently has purchased a Cessna 510 Mustang, which is a business jet with a three-screen Garmin G1000 glass cockpit. He will give a brief presentation and Q&A on the Mustang, and jet flying in general, followed by a tour of the airplane. The jet will be connected to ground power, so people can sit in the front and play with the G1000. The FBO also has a G1000 simulator (actual equipment, not a software program) which we are working to make available for people attending the presentation.
The tour is open to all club members and guests. If you are interested in attending, please let Nelse know, so we can get a count of how many people to expect.
