Milledgeville Fall Fly-In 2007
October 13th ended up being the perfect day to fly three airplanes to Milledgeville for a day of cooking out, spot landing contests, water balloon drops and general mischief. Fun was surely had by all!
Airport Fun Day 2007
With a great turnout and beautiful September weather, airplane rides, food and plane watching were the order of the day during the 2007 Airport fun day at Charlie Brown (KFTY). Many also got a tour of the control tower. Sweet!
Spring 2007 Plane Wash
Despite the cold and winds, more than 20 YJFC members showed up on April 7th to give the planes a good soaking. Remember - frostbite is only temporary, but friendships last forever!

2003 Airport Fun Day
Yellow Jacket Airport Fun Day on September 13, 2003. We had a turnout of over 60, giving airplane rides to more than 40 new and prospective members. Next year we'll be sure to bring more food.
Plane Wash September 2006
With over 30 members showing up, it took less than an hour to wash all 4 airplanes! It was a great time with free pizza and drinks once we finished. Come out to the next wash scheduled for October 20th.
Plane Wash October 2006
Our second plane wash of the semester was also a success. With over 20 members present, the plane wash went swiftly, and once again, our airplanes are nice and clean. Make sure to thank our plane wash coordinator (Sathya) for doing a good job and making these washes happen.
The Fall fly-in was lots of fun. Lots of airplanes attended including 2 club aircraft, Beech Dutchess, and two Cirrus SR 22s.
Great places to fly (including Oshkosh and Sun-N-Fun); cool or unusual aircraft; and club members, past and present.
