Want to Learn to Fly?
Start with the Yellow Jacket Flying Club Ground School!
Description
This private pilot ground school program will help prepare you for the knowledge requirements of the private pilot standard. This class is for people who have never flown before and would like to get started or those working on their private pilot certificate and need help preparing for the written exam. Topics include aircraft systems, aviation weather, aerial navigation (pilotage, dead reckoning, radio navigation), Federal Aviation Regulations, radio procedures, and basic maneuvers. The last few classes will help prepare you for the private pilot written exam. The course will follow the Jeppeson syllabus used by Yellow Jacket Flying Club flight instructors during the course of flight training.
